Day four. Travel to Europe.

Drops of the rain on the bus window, wet and dry atmosphere, grey and cloudy sky. This way France met me this morning. The mood of sorrow and sadness surrounded me. I had one desire: stay inside of the bus, take a cup of warm tea. But we should go, the excursion was ready to start. Normany and Brittany - two big areas on the coast of Atlantic Ocean - that was our aim for our trip this day. The desire to see the Ocean was stronger that any weather! Et la voila! C'est mon nouveaux voyage!
First we went to Rouen - an important historical site which is surrounded by mysteries, legends, riddles. Actually one of the most intresting places for me was the place of execution of Joan d'Arc. I've always been intrested in the story of that brave girl. And that day I was in a place which was connected with her. But that wasn't the only thig that we have visited. It is also intresting to tell some words about Rouen Cathedral. It's an intresting fact that one of the most famous French impressionist - Claude Monet - created 30 paints of that Cathedral in different time of the year and in different time of the day. It's intresting and fascinating, isn't it?

Then, after rainy city, we went to the monastery Mont-Saint-Michel. It is an amazing and magnificent structure which, of course, has its own mystery legend. The thing that I remember the most (even now) is only one. Staires! Loads of stairs! You have to passed all of them so that you will reach the top where the monastery is situated. "But I won't give up too fast!" - I thought. And I was right! It was an incredible, amazing, fascinating, breathtaking view over there. That was fantastic!

In the end of the day we went to Saint Malo to have a diner and to see it! The Ocean! It was so exciting! The majestic and powerful Atlantic! Despite the fact that we were there in a deep evening, despite the fact that it was cold and windy, I saw a mirical! The waves flew up like a fountain and exploded crashing into the walls! Some were big, some were small but it was stronger that me, it was stronger that anyone else! It was a power! It was the Ocean! I was impressed.

But this fourth day came to the end. Unfortunately it would be only some days more and will come back home.

Day three. Travel to Europe.

So, I was right! Paris show me its another side. Paris in a beautiful morning light. That day we firstly went to the Louvre - a magnificent palace of French kings.

Well, now, as you know, it a huge museum which is famous all around the world. The Louvre is filled with different sculptures, paintings, furnishing. Unfortunately we had only two hours so we couldn't see many things in there. It was like little tour around histories of different countries... Florence, Italy, Greece, France... Works of art from different countreis impressed me. But then AGAIN 1 hour later and I was ready to start crying. There are two different points: walk yourself or stand next to EVERY sculpture and listen about its history and origine. Boring, isn't it? But if I compared The Louvre and the Versailles, the Louvre would win! This palace is fulled of mysterious,  beautiful and intresting things. As for me I am intrested in French history so it was intresting for me to visit the palace which was full of intigue, of  conspiracies, palace coups! Exactly in that place people lived for years and centuries!

Our next trip was to magnificent and wonderful temple of Paris - Notre-Dame de Paris. When I came closer I immediately thought about Westminster Abbey in London. Outside there are same (well, actually all templs of that Gotic period are alike so there is nothing strange in this situation). But there is a difference between all the temples of this sructure. You have other feelings, other emotions, other mood. Everything that surrounded us has affected. That was really cool. Magnificents stained-glass windows, sculptures. It was amazing actually.

And then I saw it! The symbol of Paris, the symbol of France - the Eiffel Tower! As long as I can remember myself I was always dreaming to see this strange monument. So sometimes dreams come true. You know, one of the famous French writers (Emil Zola) told that he hate the Eiffel tower. But once the journalist have found him in The Eiffel tower. So why did he tell that he hated it if he had dinner over there? His answer was simple: "It's the only place in Paris where I can't see this tower. It is funny, isn't it? But to tell the truth I am not actually agree with this point of view. This structure might not be in a style of 14-18 centures but nevertheless it is important for many people. We live in the 21st century, time of mordenity and modernism. No, I don't insist that we shuld get rid of other styles. But why is it strange to mix styles when it looks cool? It is to break but difficult to build. You can always throw out something. But it absolutely unfair to live like our ancestry lived. We should create new things, new styles and the Eiffel Tower was a step to the future. And in plus from this tower you can have a magnificent view of Paris!

So, the third day came to the end. The next day we will have a long and unforgettable trip to the Atlatic coast. But I am sure it will be worth of it!

My travel to Europe. Day two!

I am here in Brussels, again. Well, yesterday my opinion was  partly wrong. I think that on that bad mood the late time and my  tiredness affected. So this day the city showed itself on the other,  better side. No, I won't tell you that I am full of excitement and I  want to come here again. But nevertheless I was too unfair for this  place. The Brussels has its own atmosphere. I can call it totally  european. It is  a beautiful tipical city with absolutely crazy (good  sence) and amazing architecture. Uncomparable and facinating  houses which differes a lot from box-houses with hundred of flat that are in Russia

Among all the place I want to pay a particular attention to the temple of Archangel Michael and St. Gudule. Outside it is like Notre-Dame de Paris, the architecture I mean, it is the beautiful church in the Gothic style, plus there is one tower in the Romanic. Inside there are magnificent and breathtaking stained-glass windows and beautiful and elegant sculptures. It is an awesome feeling to go in a place where people have gone for centuries! There you can not only have a feeling of the connection with God but also you have a strong connection with people that came in the temple many times ago. It's a connection with the cultury, with the history of the city and the country.
lace. There are beautiful and absolutely crazy (in a good sence of course) houses standing next to each other. Here, in Brussels it isn't like in Moscow. There are no box-houses with hundred of flats inside. No! Here there are lovely three-story houses which are painted in different colours.

After we left the Brussels I met the city of my dream -  PARIS! First of all we have visited ParisParis - une ville d'amour, une ville de mon rêveIn the evening Paris is more beautiful than during the day. There are lights everywhere.Place de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Flame of Prinsess Diana, Statue of Liberty (I am not kidding, there is a little one over there) It's so beautiful!
he summer residence of French kings and queens - Versailles. To tell the truth I've been waiting for something more intresting.
Outside it is a gorgeous and stunning palace and it is a simple and ordinary museum inside. Large paintings, sculptures, big marble busts would be intresting for somebody who is intrested in architecture. But, honestly, it was boring for me. No, I have passed about 10 halls, listening the audioguide, sightseeing the stuff but then I got bored and I tried to find the way to go out, saying myself: "Give me the exit people! Just give me the exit!" Well, finally I have found it. I went to the garden waiting for splendor and luxury. But as later I found out these gardens are similar to those that are in saint-Petersburg in Russia. So I wasn't impressed by the great and famous Versailles. After living the residence we went to Paris!

Unfortunately this second day has finished too fast. Tomorror will be a new day in Paris, tomorror I'll see the Paris in a light of the day!

понедельник, 3 ноября 2014 г.

As I promised today I am going to introduce you this week some of my first short notes about my journey to Europe. First, I want you to tell something about my journey...
it was the end of the first semestre at school and there would be one week holiday. And at the end of the school period my parents made me a present: a trip to Europe (excursions to European countries that my school had organized).
There I went with my three classmates and it was going to be the best holiday ever! (By that time I haven't know about Canada)
So let me to introduce you my six short notes about the European trip!
"Journey to Europe! Six days of incomparable emotions! "

***

Day one. Travel to Europe.

Düsseldorf, Këln, Brussels told us “Welcome!”
The flight was great; we have landed at the airport in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, in this town, we did not stay for a long time, we just drove through it. But this city helped me to understand more the German culture and lifestyle. Everything in the strict order, isn’t it great?
Këln amazed me with the magnificent and majestic cathedral. The beauty and elegance outside, luxurious and spectacular show inside! Legends and mysteries surrounded the whole city and the cathedral too.
Germany itself is riddled with some thrilling, exciting thrill. It’s absolutely obviously that here is a powerful country in Europe!
Belgium, or to be more concrete Brussels didn’t made a big impression on me. Maybe the weather affected, maybe my personal mood was the cause, maybe the time of day, I don’t actually know. I had a strong feeling that I was walking along the Arbat street in Moscow. Conventional monuments, lots of people at cafes and cafes themselves ... In one of them we stopped to eat (generally it was a restaurant, but I actually can’t call it so).
Café "Chez Lion" is the oldest one in Brussels, was discovered in the late 18th century. We decided to try the Belgian cuisine. First there was the salad (if you can call it like that), then the main dish (almost no claims), and the dessert (more like medicament because of it’s appearance and smell)
So what is the result of my first day:
1. Germany is an amazing country, and I want to know more about it and visit it one more time
2. I want know more about German culture and history
3. I definitely don’t want to visit Brussels one more time

I haven't posted anything for a rather long time, have I? So shame on me! I am so sorry that you got nothing to read, but nothing actually happened in my life. Just autumn and studying and all stuff like that...
But... Get ready! Cause next week I'm going to post some exceptionally interesting notes every day! It was the begging of my writing way and my first big journey in some European countries! Get ready! That was one year ago, but I am totally ready to remember all that stuff that happened to me and to my friends in some way :)
I am almost ready to introduce you my notes : "Journey to Europe!  Six days of incomparable emotions! "
See you soon! And stay with me ;-)

It was a long time when I wrote anything here. And I am really sorry for that. But during the school year in high school in Moscow it's rather difficult to find some free time and to tell the truth I got a little bit lazy. But now I am totally ready to share with you my expressions about the whole two weeks.
Now, the weather in Moscow is rather cold so there isn't so many things to do outside. But I wasn't appropriate for me, cause I really wanted to have a special photo session. And I wanted to share my emotions and photos with you.
So, it was on Friday night. My friend, that adore photography as much as me came to my house and we were ready to go in the Moscow center to take some really nice picks. We have decided to visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The hugest cathedral in Moscow. It was a fantastic view. Lights everywhere. Cars on the roads and almost no people outside. We were almost along on the bridge that is situated in front of the one side of cathedral.
My friend and I, we took our cameras, special equipment and just went there. It was cold and we wanted to sleep but it was gorgeous! We spend two hours taking pictures and spending time in a night Moscow. Fantastic! I know I will do that again. In winter, maybe.
But that night session wasn't my only photography experience those weeks. I have taken some brilliant photos of my friends in two different parks. To tell the truth, I like taking portrait photos. It's my passion, I think. I like the process of concentration during the pick. To choose the right place, the right position and the stuff like that. That was great! I got some really nice shots.

So it's like that. It's my life during the school year and I think that it's isn't so bad, contrary it's really funny!

I came back!)

Two weeks passed! Two weeks after my return to Moscow! And I missed... I missed my friends, classmates, teachers, and the most important - I missed my family! It doesn't matter that all those two months we communicated/ I missed them! A lot!
So, after my long and very tiresome flight from Montreal to Moscow, with a little stop in Amsterdam, I, at 18.00 (Moscow time), landed at the SVO airport. And from that moment I was surrounded by.. Russian. To tell the truth I didn't miss language, at all. There in Canada, it was so interesting for me to communicate in French or English. I liked that so much, that hearing Russian was like torture for me. I didn't want to speak on it, there was no wish to hear it (on streets) because it was inappropriate for me there. It was something strange for me.
But here Russian is native so I had to "forget" French and English and start to speak great and mighty Russian.
To tell the truth, my return to Moscow to Moscow, to be more precisely my return to school, was a real surprise for me. Many people were glad to see me. Many, nor two, nor five, it was a quite large number. Well I was glad, and it was very pleasant for me that someone remember me.
And now my school everyday life began. Study, additional classes, home, friends. I will return to my hobbies: I will continue my photography classes, I will continue my study at school. And the most important: now I will start choosing the further future. There are two years more and it will be time for me to choose the further course of life. But don't worry, I will continue to write notes in the blog about the life of the sixteen-year-old teenager.
Wish me luck!
