I can't believe that it is almost the end?
A semester, only 4 weeks passed like a flash! It's hard for me to believe that from 10 weeks of study in Montreal, only 4 rest now. Time flies with relentless speed, which means that soon I'll have to say goodbye ...
This semester (the first full 4 weeks session), unfortunately, came to the end. I got so many emotions, experiences, and most important memories!
So many lovely places, awesome people, and most importantly exciting lessons will remain in my memory! Throughout the entire trip, I wrote my notes, trying to select the best and the most interesting, but today I will talk about what's left "behind the scenes" of my little essay!

week 1
"Everything is just beginning"
When my first teacher Shona said that she put me on the course "French in Montreal," I was happy! It was a pretty heavy program, which means that my knowledges are not at a small level. But when it was Monday morning, and the class started, I was scared.
In the group I was the youngest one. People from twenty years old and above were there, in my group. I was embarrassed, because the main essence of these activities to practice the language directly in French-speaking environment and to express their opinion and feedback! What can I, still a child, give people who have a lot of things behind theirs backs ...
I was terrified. Of course, I did not say that to anyone, and, of course, I did not show that. But inside me it was a fear.
Monday, the first lesson. Meeting, interactive and walk to the old port. Interesting and fun. But I still was not in a good mood ...
Tuesday, art in the subway. On this day I wrote a note. But I described the day, not my feelings. I found it (the day) easier, because I was put in a pair with a girl with whom we have studied in the first half-session. I felt myself better. And it was more interesting. We stood around the works of different artists and analysed them. I like to analyse everything, so I began to talk, in French, of course. I liked it. We stood for twenty minutes next to one stained-glass window, analysing, thinking and reasoning, than after we shared with our classmates and a teacher. I decided to talk, and you know they were listening to me! It became easier...
Wednesday, restaurant Robin Hood. On this class, I wrote a story and  I do not want to bother you one more time to reading this topic. I will say one thing, that day I surrender to the power of emotions and new experiences!
Thursday, visiting a quite curious place. Boulevard Saint-Laurent, a pretty remarkable place, especially for lovers of contemporary art and custom. Place for merchants, as well as well-known place where the competitions of graffiti were held!
Please note that graffiti and tags are completely different things. Graffiti - it's just drawings and tag is a desecration of the walls and graffiti art as whole (I'm not talking about calligraphy, it is quite another story.) It is these concepts and principles we tried to explain to people when we did a survey. Did you know that there are certain rules in graffiti? I am sure that you do not! But now I know them! I liked my course more and more, but my shyness refused to leave me...
Friday, an ordinary day of work on the grammar and vocabulary in the park McGill University.
This lesson I liked because of the fact that we had to choose one of graffiti draws that we had seen the day before, and write a story about it. While all sat and thought what they could write, French words poured out of me as a river! 15 minutes and my essay was done! It seemed that I like it more and more!
By the way, my work was good!

week 2
"I have become more and more confident"
Monday, an event which I called "Extraction of honey!"
The beginning the week ... Hmm ... Time for something unusual, right? Restaurant, which has a bee farm? Pourquoi pas, as the French people may say! I liked this lesson, we scraped the wax plugs and mined gold, fragrant and so sweet honey! I ate too much and I was happy! Combined business with pleasure. Practice, practice and more practice in my favourite French! Fortunately, timidity passed me by, and I enjoyed the lessons!
Tuesday, Big library!
The lesson was really awesome! As an avid bookworm, I captured the excitement and it is no wonder, then hit the library about the size! I wish I could spend much more time there ... But we had a clear purpose - to find tales of our own countries! Said - done! There were lots of Russian tales! you could choose whatever you want! My choice fell on "Goldfish". Finding the book, I went for a work. My plan and notes took a little over than an hour, but I was pleased with myself! I have done such a work. I was proud with myself, ladies and gentlemen!
Wednesday, library Mont-Royal
On this day we had plans that were crumbling before our eyes. Cafe where we were going to qualify for a lesson on the next day turned out to be closed. On the street there was a rainfall. We had to search for a replacement quickly and efficiently, until we were absolutely wet! Found, relaxed, ate. Warm and dry room are combined.
But this is only a warm-up, at eleven o'clock exactly, was appointed to an important meeting. We had to find a book Michel Tremblay, that would be found with the help of literature from the Quebec dialect, "Joual."
Joual - Quebec dialect, which is mainly used by the workers at the end of the 20th century. Language remained and now, but it is pretty hard to hear it.
Thursday, meeting with the tellers.
Yes, you read that right, we had a lesson with storytellers. They were going to surprise us, but we did not stay in debt. In response to the fascinating history of the tellers, each of us told by a history of our own country! Day is lived not in vain! As I say, practice, practice and more practice!
Friday, grammar, vocabulary, and an exhibition dedicated to Michel Tremblin.
There were as usual emotions, impressions and a little bit of tears. On that day we told goodbye to three of our classmates who had to return home. It's a pity, a pity, but what could we do? It's summer, and it ends ...

week 3
"That's better"
Monday impetus to the project
Again beginning of a new week. Someone hates Mondays, but for me this is the beginning of something new. So, rainy, wet and cold! I'm sleepy, but ready to rant and rave! I do not like this weather!Actually I hate it! Fortunately for me our lesson was held place in the room. The meeting with the founder of a charity project. Sounds great, does not it? And it was really awesome !!! We were excited about helping children in Africa to get an education! We were excited about the idea! But the most important training, and then the result! But without the first you do not get the second! We were full of enthusiasm and desire!
Tuesday, the lesson is quite interesting, but I had him mixed emotions
Quarter "The Village" - a small place in the centre of the city, where people live with gay. Problem: ask around people about their attitude to such places.
As for me, I think this topic is too personal to discuss. But it was said so it should be done. This was a task so I needed to work! Interviewed, summarized, postponed and forgotten. Everything is good!
Wednesday, the indigenous people of Canada
A story that not only impressed me, but also made me to think ...
When the French and the British people have just started to settle in Canadian territory, the indigenous people of Canada - autochtones been here since time immemorial. They lived peacefully, cultivated the land. So for centuries one generation was replaced by the next. They saw the war of the European powers, eternal rivals, but keep it out of the affairs of other
And the Europeans decided to teach sciences and different languages to Aboriginal people. They took the children and began to teach them.
But there were just words. Culture of the two nations were not trying to merge. Everything was easier. Children were forced to forget their native language, traditions and culture. They were given new names and Europeans were made of them . That's just after saying "Go you, Pierre, wherever you want! Come back to the tribe. How could you do that if they were people who had completely changed and who had  forget thier native language?
In the modern world of the indigenous population is much less rights than the "visitors" of this country ...
In this tutorial, we visited a small community of indigenous people in Montreal. It was so uncomfortable when we were there ... People were silent. Only looks and whispers ...
I learned a lot, which probably I would not learn while I could be in the classroom...
Thursday, the day of drawing!
Let's just say, we painted billboards and posters specially for our "share". Ideas, ideas, ideas !!! So many ideas and so little time. But we worked hard, because we knew what we are waiting for the result!
Friday, grammar and vocabulary! As usual! Read, translated, outlined and laughing! Without it anywhere!

week 4
"It's time to say goodbye"
Monday, the palace of justice!
Beginning of the week cannot be boring! For the whole day we were waiting for something special! Palace of Justice in Montreal! It was fun and exciting, because the we did not go there with a boring tour guide and did not listen: "Look to the right. This amazing stairs of classical style are made of metal and ..."
No! We haven't listened to these things! We were in the courtroom: the judge, the lawyer, the prosecutor, the defendant and the police!
Oh my God! That  was awesome!
"Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" I love it!
We were at two different cases: one in English, the second one in French (because we haven't got a choice), and I liked it! If I do not go to journalism and photography, I'll go in justice!
Tuesday, a day, a great day!
I'm not going to paint that day, because I have already done in the past his article, but I will say one thing! This day, and this action changed me. I want to help people. I want to be useful! Knowing that I can help with some things, I should do something! This sense of duty and a desire to help!
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have been for me like a fog. I could not believe that the time has come to say goodbye ...
Session! A whole session flew like a flash!
It was so amazing, interesting and fascinating!
Thanks for that! Thank you very much!
