As I promised today I am going to introduce you this week some of my first short notes about my journey to Europe. First, I want you to tell something about my journey...
it was the end of the first semestre at school and there would be one week holiday. And at the end of the school period my parents made me a present: a trip to Europe (excursions to European countries that my school had organized).
There I went with my three classmates and it was going to be the best holiday ever! (By that time I haven't know about Canada)
So let me to introduce you my six short notes about the European trip!
"Journey to Europe! Six days of incomparable emotions! "
***
Day one. Travel to Europe.
Düsseldorf, Këln, Brussels told us “Welcome!”
The flight was great; we have landed at the airport in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, in this town, we did not stay for a long time, we just drove through it. But this city helped me to understand more the German culture and lifestyle. Everything in the strict order, isn’t it great?
Këln amazed me with the magnificent and majestic cathedral. The beauty and elegance outside, luxurious and spectacular show inside! Legends and mysteries surrounded the whole city and the cathedral too.
Germany itself is riddled with some thrilling, exciting thrill. It’s absolutely obviously that here is a powerful country in Europe!
Belgium, or to be more concrete Brussels didn’t made a big impression on me. Maybe the weather affected, maybe my personal mood was the cause, maybe the time of day, I don’t actually know. I had a strong feeling that I was walking along the Arbat street in Moscow. Conventional monuments, lots of people at cafes and cafes themselves ... In one of them we stopped to eat (generally it was a restaurant, but I actually can’t call it so).
Café "Chez Lion" is the oldest one in Brussels, was discovered in the late 18th century. We decided to try the Belgian cuisine. First there was the salad (if you can call it like that), then the main dish (almost no claims), and the dessert (more like medicament because of it’s appearance and smell)
So what is the result of my first day:
1. Germany is an amazing country, and I want to know more about it and visit it one more time
2. I want know more about German culture and history
3. I definitely don’t want to visit Brussels one more time
